Koby Doughty

Associate, Revenue Operations

Koby joined Heartland in 2025 as a part of the Community team. 

In this role at Heartland, Koby supports the firm’s Community team and portfolio companies in systems management, operational process and efficiency, GTM initiatives,  and data insights.

Koby has spent a decade operating within high-growth, venture-backed startups, helping technology-driven companies scale revenue generating actions and build infrastructure to sustain rapid growth. Prior to Heartland, he led Revenue Operations at Empora, a real estate technology company, and Beam Benefits, an insurance administration technology platform. In his time at Beam, Koby established and directed the company’s initial Customer Success and Revenue Operations functions, building infrastructure, process, and management of several millions in recurring revenue. Earlier in his career, he served as a Senior Director of Operations at CrossChx/Olive, leading product coordination and customer support nationwide for customers of the healthcare biometrics company.  

He graduated from Muskingum University with a B.A. in Journalism and minors in History and English. Koby is a Chillicothe, Ohio native who now lives in Westerville, Ohio with his wife and two children.
