Lucas Pasch

Lucas joined Heartland Ventures in 2026 as a Principal on the Investing team.

In this role, Lucas focuses on sourcing, evaluating, and supporting high-growth technology companies, partnering closely with founders and Heartland’s network of industrial leaders to drive long-term value creation.

Prior to joining Heartland, Lucas spent three years at Alumni Ventures, a $1.5B AUM venture capital firm investing across sectors and stages. Before that, he served as Director of Business Operations at LetsGetChecked, a tech-enabled services company serving payers and healthcare enterprises, where he led cross-functional initiatives at the intersection of operations, growth, and strategy. Earlier, Lucas was a GM at Bungalow, a Khosla- and Founders Fund-backed proptech company, where he scaled and operated a local market during a period of rapid growth. He began his career in investment banking at KeyBanc Capital Markets, advising middle-market industrial companies on M&A and capital markets transactions.

Lucas earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Michigan.

He lives in Chicago, where he has spent the past decade, with his wife, son, and golden retriever. Outside of work, Lucas enjoys golfing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
